Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

WHAT IS A GRATEFUL JOURNEY?
Our Daily Lives!
Each day we open our eyes God sets us on our way to an unexpected journey that may come with unforeseen challenges! But within them lies hidden gifts if we seek them out! Remember God blessed you with another day the moment you woke up, honor Him!
“The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all.”
Psalm 34:19 (NIV)
Thankfulness!
During our daily journeys we should take some time to embrace what we are thankful for. Be specific and consistent each day! Also be thankful for the Lord and share with all about the good works from God your truly thankful for!
“give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV)
Taking A Walk!
Maybe your journey for the day includes taking a walk. Use that moment to center yourself and focus on what you’re grateful for. Allow your brain to see things differently so you can receive the gift of appreciation for the things you may never truly appreciated before.
“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.”
Galatians 5:25 (NIV)
Laugh & Be Happy
We need to laugh as much as possible as we make our journeys. It induces happiness and can be very healing which is a beautiful gift from God.
“A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”
Proverbs 17:22 (NIV)
It’s OK To Cry
Sometimes there will be tears along the journey. To be able to cry is important for our emotional health whether you’re a man or woman. It doesn’t mean you’re weak, it means you have a heart!
“Jesus wept.”
John 11:35 (NIV)
Family Time!
Journeys that include the family make everything worth while. Whether it’s a vacation, a movie night, having a meal together and so on the little events that make up those moments are why we exist to do things together.
“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”
Psalm 133:1
